Publishing the Joy app widget is the final step in launching your loyalty program to your customers. Once live, they’ll be able to view their points balance and easily redeem rewards directly through the widget, making your loyalty program accessible.
If you click the quick button on our quickstart widget, or you can manually find the Online Store > Theme > Customize. You will need to find our App Embed named: "Joy Loyalty - Widget" and turn it on. Remember to hit the Save button to implement the change to your theme.
Once you enable the widget, you will see our quickstart checklist updated on the fly. From now on, you can start the monitor the program performance throughout the time.
If you just want to test if the widget is working on your store, then enable the app but do not yet hit the Save button. Besides, you can turn on the widget, but before that, limit the widget display to a few low-traffic pages for testing.
You can duplicate your main theme, enable the Joy app in the duplicated (unpublished), and then preview it directly with the Shopify live preview URL. With this approach, you can test the all functionalities beforehand.
