The Social Activity feature is a customer engagement tool that rewards customers for interacting with your brand across various social media platforms. This feature allows you to create reward programs for specific social actions such as following your brand, liking posts, or sharing content on different social platforms.
Social media is a powerful tool to engage customers and expand your brand’s reach. By offering rewards for specific social media actions, you encourage your customers to interact with your brand across different platforms while earning points in your loyalty program.
a. Rule information
Rule name: Give each social reward program a clear name
Customer Action or Event: Choose your customer action on any social platform from the dropdown
Social URL: Provide the relevant URL based on the social action type
Start date and End date: Define the activity duration for your program
b. Reward rule
Points to Issue: Specify the number of points customers will earn for completing the action
Save your changes and press Turn on Write review program
Will the app verify if a customer has fully completed the social media action before awarding points?
Due to technical limitations imposed by social media platforms, we’re unable to verify whether a customer has completed the action through direct APIs or webhooks.
However, similar to other loyalty programs, our app relies on a trust-based system. It guides customers to your social media profiles, and our data indicates that the majority of users follow through with the actions. Rest assured, most customers will engage with your social media as intended.
