Who can connect Joy with Jugdeme?

Reviews play a crucial role in building trust and credibility for your brand. Our Joy: Loyalty Program app encourages customers to leave reviews by offering rewards, helping you gather valuable feedback on your products and services. To give you more flexibility, we partner with trusted third-party providers, allowing Shopify merchants to choose a review app that best fits their needs.
One such option is Judgeme, a powerful tool for collecting and showcasing reviews, including photos and videos, which can further strengthen your brand's reputation. In this guide, we'll show you how to integrate Joy: Rewards, Loyalty Program with Judgeme Product Reviews to enhance your brand's presence.
The rules for the integration between Joy and Judgeme are quite simple:
When a customer leaves a review through the Judgeme review widget, then the merchant approves the review from the backend, once done, the customer earns points in the Joy Loyalty Program.
Judgeme uses OAuth as their main authentication method for 3rd-party developers so it is quite easy for merchants to get the integration up and running quickly. From the left menu of Joy, go to Integrations > Judgeme to find the integration page.
After successfully installing Judgeme and ensuring that customers can leave reviews, click Connect on step 2, and select Authorize to confirm the integration process. As I mentioned before, Judgeme uses OAuth authentication, so we can easily grant access via one button, just as you grant access to one Shopify app.
After successfully granting access, you will be redirected back to the integrations page. If the Connected badge is green, it means you have successfully granted the connection between Joy and Judgeme API.
Once the connection is ready, we will head to the Joy review program, in which we will choose Judgeme as the targeted review target. Remember to set up the incentive level good enough for customers to provide social proof to your brand, this will build a good campaign in the long run.
Besides, remember to set a limit for the amount of reviews a customer can give to prevent them from exploiting the system.
You will only be able to select Judgeme after a successful connection. If you have connected successfully but Judgeme still appears as Judgeme (Not set up) in the review app selection, please disconnect and try again. If the issue persists, do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.
After submitting your reviews from the online store, you can go back to Joy, visit the Activities > Review activities > View all reviews activities to see all the pending rewards transactions for the reviews.
The customer will not see the balance updated after you have not approved this reward activity. This mechanism is to make sure that customers will not use reviews as a way to exploit points and discounts from your store.
