Building trust is a crucial factor in turning potential shoppers into repeat customers. We can use reviews as social proof to strengthen clients’ confidence in our brand. While Air Review helps you to collect customer's feedback on your products, you can integrate the app with Joy to encourage customers to leave more reviews by receiving rewards for their actions.
In this article, we will guide you on how to make the integration between Joy and Air Review to allow customers to earn points for feedback on your products.
Make sure that you have both apps installed on your Shopify store:
Air Reviews:
Joy:
To integrate with Air Reviews, our app will need to register webhooks from the Air Reviews app using their API, and we cannot do it without Air Reviews credentials. You can go to Air Reviews > Settings > Manage keys to find your pair: App ID and Secret key
Next, you will need to get back to the Joy app and go to the Integrations > Air Reviews page. On this page, fill in the App ID and the Secret Key to the according fields. Once done, hit the Connect button to test out the connection between the apps. If the connection is verified, the status will turn to Connected
After making sure that the connection between the 2 apps is working. You can go to the Rewards programs page, and create the Write review program. You will see the option for Air Reviews shown as Connected. As all is configured, you can publish the program and test it out.
After submitting your reviews from the online store, you can go back to Joy, visit the Activities > Review activities > View all reviews activities to see all the pending rewards transactions for the reviews.
The customer will not see the balance updated after you have not approved this reward activity. This mechanism is to make sure that customers will not use reviews as a way to exploit points and discounts from your store
