WhatsApp is a popular messaging platform that can help merchants engage with their customers more personally and effectively. By setting up a "Join WhatsApp Reward," you can incentivize customers to join your store's WhatsApp group, enhancing communication and loyalty. This guide will explain how to set up the "Join WhatsApp Reward" in your Joy Loyalty program.
The "Join WhatsApp Reward" allows merchants to add a WhatsApp group chat link to their widget. When customers click on the "Join WhatsApp" button in the "Earn Points" section, they will be directed to your store's WhatsApp group chat. After joining the group, customers will be rewarded with loyalty points. The number of points is determined by the merchant's settings.
There are two ways to invite customers to join your WhatsApp group:
WhatsApp QR Code: Customers scan a QR code to join the group.
WhatsApp Link: Customers click on a link to join the group.
Step 1: Navigate to Joy Loyalty dashboard and choose Reward programs -> Earn programs -> Choose Add more in -> Join Whatsapp
Step 2: Name the program, enter the number of points customers will receive after following, and paste your Whatsapp group into the Whatsapp field.
Step 3: Save the changes to activate the reward in your loyalty program.
Once the program is live, customers can earn points by joining your Whatsapp Group.
Note: After the program is live, the "Ways to Earn" section on the loyalty page will automatically update to include the Join Whatsapp program.
