Who can use Tier Privileges?

Introduction

Implementing Tier Privileges in your loyalty program offers several compelling benefits for both your business and your customers. Here are key reasons why you should set up Tier Privileges:

  • Increased Customer Retention: Encourages loyalty and repeat purchases.

  • Boosted Sales: Incentivizes frequent and larger transactions.

  • Enhanced Customer Engagement: Fosters a sense of belonging and appreciation.

  • Competitive Differentiation: Offers unique benefits that set your brand apart.

  • Higher Customer Satisfaction: Improves overall shopping experience.

Understanding the Rules

Tier Privileges are determined by the merchant and can consist of one or multiple rewards. When a member reaches a specific tier, all their orders will automatically benefit from the associated privileges. Here's a simple breakdown of how it works:

  1. Select Rewards: Merchants choose the rewards to be offered as Tier Privileges. These can be any combination of Discount Amount, Discount Percentage, Free Shipping, Free Product, and Bonus Points.

  2. Automatic Application: Once a member attains a certain tier, all subsequent orders will automatically apply the selected privileges.

Compare with Tier Entry Rewards

What is "New Entry Rewards"? "Entry rewards" are the incentives or benefits that customers receive upon joining a loyalty program or reaching a certain tier within that program. These rewards are designed to encourage customer engagement and retention. Rewards offer immediate incentives for reaching new tiers. "Entry rewards" are valid for one-time use only.

The main difference between Tier Privileges and Tier New Entry Rewards is in their frequency and application. Tier Privileges offer ongoing benefits, that apply to all purchases once a customer reaches a specific tier. In contrast, Tier New Entry Rewards provide one-time benefits, when customers first achieve a new tier. Privileges sustain long-term loyalty through continuous rewards, while Entry Rewards offer immediate incentives for reaching new tiers.

Set up Tier Privileges

Step 1: Open settings, choose VIP -> Tier, and choose the Tier you want to add Tier Privileges -> Select Add Reward.

Step 2: Select the previlege reward you want to add to the tier and proceed with the setup.

Discount Amount

The customers will receive a fixed amount discount, and this discount amount reward will be automatically applied to all customer orders.

After deciding on the discount amount for tier previlege awards, you can determine the minimum amount required for customers to be eligible for this discount, as well as select which products can be applied with this discount amount.

Discount Percentage

Customers will receive an X% discount code, and this percentage discount reward will be automatically applied to all customer orders.

Just like the discount amount, you can set a minimum purchase amount for the discount percentage to apply. You can also designate which products or categories this discount applies to, providing you with the flexibility to drive sales where you need them most.

Free Shipping

Customers will receive a free shipping discount code for their orders.

Free Product

Customers will receive a free product with each purchase. The free product is determined by you.

Note: If you have a Free Product reward in Privileges Rewards, remind your customers that they need to add the free product to their cart. Once the product is added to the cart, it will automatically be marked as free.

In the example above, the customer has proactively added the Overprint T-Shirt In Green to their cart. Once added, the product price is automatically set to free. If the customer does not add the item to their cart, they will miss out on this benefit. Please ensure you inform your customers about this requirement.

Bonus Points

Customers will receive bonus points each time they successfully place an order.

Bonus points can be a great motivator for customers to continue engaging with your brand. They can accumulate these points to redeem exclusive rewards or discounts in the future, enhancing their overall shopping experience

Custom reward

If you choose "Custom Reward," you can display unique tier privileges that aren’t included in the selected rewards above. For instance, perks like access to an exclusive collection for diamond-tier members or VIP lounge access at your store can be showcased using the custom reward option.

To set up a custom reward, simply select "Custom Reward" and configure the privilege details under "Reward Detail." The content will be displayed directly on the widget (as shown in the image).

Important Note

#1 Combinate discounts

When you use the combinations feature with privileges rewards, for order discounts, if there are more than two discount programs, only the one with the highest discount will be applied.

Example: A gold-tier member will enjoy privileges including a 10% discount, $10 off, and free shipping. So, when this member purchases an order worth $200, they will receive a $20 discount (10% off) and free shipping.

#2 Combinate discounts

Currently, you can set up a maximum of 5 privileges rewards across all tiers. This means the total number of privileges rewards from all tiers cannot exceed 5.

Implementing Tier Privileges enhances your loyalty program by providing valuable incentives that encourage customer engagement and repeat purchases. By offering tailored rewards to your VIP members, you can foster loyalty and drive more sales, ultimately benefiting both your customers and your business.
