Use Joy in POS
This article shows how you can use Joy in POS system.
Who can use Joy in POS?
This feature is available for: Professional, Advanced, Enterprise users.
Introduction
Simply integrating into the POS system for point accumulation isn't sufficient. It's inconvenient for customers to have to visit the website to redeem discount codes and then provide them to the cashier in-store.
With Joy, merchants can enhance the in-store customer experience by allowing customers to earn and redeem points directly at the POS. Customers can now save time shopping while still enjoying membership benefits. Now, I'll guide you on how to use Joy in your POS system.
Add Customer
First, make sure you have installed Joy Loyalty on your POS device. If you haven't installed it yet, please refer to the instructions here.
To add a customer to the order, follow these steps:
Add the products the customer wants to purchase to the cart.
Select "Add customer" at the top of the cart.
Find the customer from the customer list and select them.
After successfully adding the customer, press the X mark to exit the POS interface.
Use Joy Loyalty
After successfully adding the customer to the order, Joy Loyalty will activate and you can use it. Now, you can track the customer's point balance and use points earning, points redemption directly on the POS.
To redeem points for rewards and apply the rewards directly to the customer's order, follow these steps:
Press on Joy Loyalty, where you'll now see the customer's reward point balance.
Select the reward the customer wants to redeem and proceed with the point redemption.
At this point, the reward will be automatically applied to the order. You can check the order to see if the reward has been applied.
Important note
All the instructions just given are performed on Shopify POS. If you are using a different POS system, please contact us for assistance in integrating Joy into your POS.
