Migrating from Stamped to Joy Loyalty allows you to seamlessly transition your loyalty program, preserving essential customer data such as VIP tiers and point balances. This guide will walk you through the migration process to ensure your data transfers correctly.
Joy Loyalty supports the migration of key customer data, including:
Customer Name: Full name of the customer.
VIP Tier Name: The customerβs rank tier in your loyalty program.
Birth Date: The customerβs birthday.
Points Balance: The current points balance the customer holds.
Email: The customerβs email address.
You need to prepare a CSV file containing the list of your store's loyal customers. This file should include all the information fields you want to migrate.
Note: If the customer list exported from the loyalty program managed by Stamped is missing the VIP tier field, you can contact Stamped's team for support in exporting the customer file with all necessary fields.
Step 1: Open the Joy Loyalty app β navigate to the Settings
β choose Migration
.
Note: For older stores, the migration feature may not appear under the import section. If you don't see the migration feature, please contact our customer support team for assistance. After that, we will assist you in enabling the Migration feature.
Step 2: In the migration section, select Migrate my loyalty program from: Stamped
Step 3: After choosing your old loyalty program, pleaseupload your loyalty customer data file.
Step 4: Wait for your customer loyalty data to be uploaded. Once uploaded, let's select the data to import:
Step 5: Match your data
columns to Joy attributes
Step 6: Set up VIP Tier rules
Note: For customers who choose to migrate new VIP tiers, this step is required. For those who do not select the VIP tier migration, this screen will not appear.
Step 7: Select migration method and start Migration
Step 8: Wait for the migration process to complete.
While waiting for your migration to complete, you can explore the following features of Joy to optimize your storeβs loyalty program.
Step 9: Review your migrated customer loyalty data in the Customer
section to ensure everything has transferred correctly.
Step 10: Recheck your migration progress and fix Failed Import customers:
Successful Imports: Number of customers successfully migrated.
Failed Imports: Number of customers not migrated due to errors.
To resolve failed imports, download the failed_import file, make corrections, and upload the file again for review.
How to handle file errors and fix values for re-uploading
After Joy Loyalty reads your file and reports the number of successful and failed customer imports, follow these steps to ensure no customers are missed:
Download the processed file from the FailedImports section.
Open the file (a spreadsheet) and apply a filter on the Status column to display only the failed customers.
Review the error messages and correct the failed values.
Re-upload the corrected file and review the data again to ensure all customers are successfully imported.
