Integrating Joy Loyalty with Joy Subscription automatically links subscription purchases to your reward system. Customers who subscribe to products will receive loyalty points for every payment cycle, just as they would for a standard one-time purchase.
The points can be configured based on the merchantβs preferences, either for each purchase or by total spend. This means customers are incentivized to stay subscribed, as they will accumulate points with each recurring payment. Merchants can also define specific rules, such as limiting which subscription products are eligible for rewards or which customer segments qualify for the loyalty program.

Step 1: Download both Joy Loyalty and Joy Subscription apps from Shopify.
Step 2: Open Joy: Loyalty Program, go to Integrations, and select Joy Subscription.
Step 3: The integration is automatic. If successful, a Connected tag will appear next to Joy Subscription. If not, donβt hesitate to contact us for more support.
Step 4: To set up a reward program:
Program name: Customize the name of the reward program.
Eligible customers: Define which customers are eligible for the program.
Rewarding method: Choose between rewarding based on the amount spent or per purchase.
Rewards value: Set the reward points value for subscriptions.
Note: If your store is on the Advanced plan and you use the Rule Engine to configure the Place Order rule, then in Step 2, you need to set the criteria for the product as Is Subscription and configure the reward points rule for customers in Step 3.
