Our Joy Loyalty Program provides comprehensive customization options for how points are earned and redeemed across various sales channels, including online stores and physical point-of-sale (POS) systems. This guide offers a detailed look at the channel settings available, helping you tailor the program to meet your specific business needs.
Notably, each program for earning or redeeming points features its own settings for channel selection, allowing for precise configuration according to your operational strategies.
In the Place order program, you can find the Sale channels setting with 3 options: Online store only, Online store & POS, and POS only. You can change this accordingly. Remember that once you change this setting, it will take effect immediately to new orders on your Shopify.
In the redeeming programs section, you can adjust settings related to the discount amount and discount percentage. Changes made to these settings will only affect newly created coupon codes. For instance, if you initially configure the program for redemption in the online store only and later adjust it to be applicable across both online and physical point-of-sale channels, the modification will apply only to codes created following the change.
We do not offer a unified setting for this functionality because we recognize that merchants may have varying preferences. For example, you might want to enable point earning from both online and in-store purchases but restrict redemptions to just one channel, or vice versa. To accommodate different business strategies, we maintain flexibility in how these settings can be configured.
