The Black Friday Cyber Monday (BFCM) season is crucial for merchants, as it brings a significant sales boost. Leveraging Joy Loyalty’s integration with Klaviyo, merchants can easily segment customers based on their loyalty tier and create targeted email campaigns with special discount codes.
Segmentation allows merchants to send personalized offers to customers, increasing the chances of engagement and conversion. By targeting customers according to their VIP tier, merchants can offer exclusive, tier-specific deals, creating a sense of exclusivity and rewarding loyalty.
By integrating Joy Loyalty with Klaviyo, merchants can automatically sync customer loyalty data, such as points, tier status, and purchase behavior, directly into Klaviyo. This makes it easy to segment customers and craft personalized email campaigns tailored to different customer groups based on their VIP tiers.
You have three VIP tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. For BFCM 2024, you want to reward each tier with a different discount.
Segment Your VIP Tiers in Klaviyo:
Bronze Tier: Create a segment for Bronze-tier customers and send a 10% discount code.
Silver Tier: Segment Silver-tier customers and send them a 15% discount code.
Gold Tier: Segment Gold-tier customers and send a 20% discount code.
Bronze Customers: Email with “Get 10% off your Black Friday purchases!”
Silver Customers: Email with “Exclusive Silver Member 15% off this Black Friday!”
Gold Customers: Email with “Gold Members receive 20% off for Black Friday!”
Each email will include the respective discount code and encourage customers to make the most of their membership tier rewards during BFCM 2024. This targeted approach will drive engagement, boost sales, and reward loyalty!

Open Joy Loyalty and go to the Integrations tab. Select Klaviyo and connect it using your Klaviyo API key.

Create Customer Segments in Klaviyo:
In Klaviyo, go to Lists & Segments and create a new segment.
Add a condition: “Properties about someone > VIP Tier equals [Tier Name]”.
Create a separate segment for each VIP tier (e.g., Bronze, Silver, Gold).
Set Up Email Campaigns:
For each segment, create an email campaign offering a special Black Friday deal.
Assign unique discount codes for each tier to ensure customers receive the appropriate offer.
Send and Track Performance:
Send out your email campaigns and monitor their performance within Klaviyo to adjust offers as needed.
