Email builder
Edit what each alert email says and how it looks, then preview it and send yourself a test.
Overview
Each alert has its own email. You edit it in the email builder, next to a preview of the email.
With Marketing app as your sending method, you build the email flow in that app instead.
Open the email builder
Go to Settings > Notifications. Under Notification types, click Back in stock, then click Edit in email builder.
Change the subject, logo, banner, text and design, check the preview, and send yourself a test.

The preview shows desktop and mobile, one item or several items grouped into one email, and how the email looks in the inbox. Images can be PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF, up to 2MB. Use Reset content to go back to the default text.
Variables
Back in stock emails can use these variables:

Send a test
Click Send test email, enter one or more addresses separated by commas, and click Send. The test uses sample product data.
